What Is Self-Storage?
Self-storage facilities provide people with personal containers that they can fill with their belongings when they're moving to a new house, going travelling, decluttering, renovating or just require additional space.
They act as a garage or spare room providing substantial space and a safe home for anything that you don't need access to on a day to day basis.
How Does Gorilla Self Storage Work?
Our West Midlands based storage facility works in five easy steps:
Contact us for a quote
We'll need to know the minimum length of time that you will need your storage unit for and from what date.
All our containers are 20ft so our pricing is simply based on how long it will be in use.
Book your storage container
If you're happy with the price, and we have availability, then you can book your storage container in a matter of minutes.
We take an upfront payment for the first 4 weeks as a deposit with any remaining payments being invoiced weekly.
Pack up and drop off
Once you've confirmed your container, you will need to pack up the belongings that will be put into storage. You should ensure that you pack with caution and follow advice on how to correctly package furniture and fragile items to avoid any damage.
It’s also a good idea to label your boxes so you can find things quickly when you need them.
When you're ready, you can access your storage container on our Willenhall site with drive-up access. You will need to speak to security and inform them that you have arrived to load up your storage container and they may ask a few security questions before allowing you to enter.
You will need to bring your own padlock and key for your storage unit – you will be the only keyholder so ensure that you keep this safe.
Come back as and when required
Our self-storage facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so whenever you need to stop by your storage container and pick up some items, or deposit some more, all you need to do is drop by with your key and I.D (no booking required).
